Airpol Engineering - Dust and Fume Control engineers. Manufactures of reverse jet and reverse air flow filters, cyclones, fans and associated equipment. LEV readings undertaken and advice on exsisting equipment

AIRPOL ENGINEERING LTD. design, manufacture and install a complete range of dust and fume extraction equipment, from small self contained bag filters handling up to 12,000 cu.m/hr. to larger installations handling in excess of 250,000 cu.m/hr.

AirPol 'RJ' Filter – a series of bag and cartridge reverse jet filters for handling all types of dust including carbon black, lead, sugar beet, plasterboard, chip board and MDF dusts. Available in a range of sizes, configurations and customers options to suit individual applications.

AirPol Cyclojet Filters — The AirPol range of CycloJet Filters are especially designed for handling large volumes of wood by-product from joinery shops, kitchen and joinery manufacturers etc. This type of filter incorporates the large waste volume handling capacity of a cyclone with the efficiency of a filter, all within a small foot print. The filter has a volute inlet which results in up to 95% cleaning of the air stream by means of centrifugal separation. An inner perforated thimble ensures that upward velocities are kept to a minimum maximising bag life.

AirPol 'RV' - A range of filters designed for non-continuous extraction of wood by-product from varying woodworking operations where the filter can be shut down to allow for filter bag cleaning via the shaker mechanism. Dust and shavings discharged via a Rotary Airlock to clients skip or bags.

Also available in high pressure design for pneumatic conveying systems.

AirPol Scrubbers — a cost effective design of coalescing impingement type scrubbers for fume and light dust scrubbing. Available in a range of sizes.

FX Self Contained Filters – with integral filter bags, mechanical shaker mechanisms, fan and collection bins for smaller applications.

Fume Control — Custom designed fume extraction plant including booths, canopies, discharge stacks and axial and centrifugal fans.

Centrifugal Cyclones – of varying volumetric capacities and efficiencies for use as stand alone separators or pre-separators prior to a bag filter.

Centrifugal Fans – with radially bladed impellors for heavy dust loads and backward laminar impellors for increased efficiency.

Fabrication – a full ancillary package of ducting, hooding, enclosures and steelwork etc, tailor made to suit a wide range of applications.

Explosion Relief Vent Panels – can be fitted to all equipment in accordance with the ATEX-100A Directive which comes into force in June 2003.

Can also be retrofitted to existing equipment to ensure compliance with the new Directive.
