Airpol Engineering - Dust and Fume Control engineers. Manufactures of reverse jet and reverse air flow filters, cyclones, fans and associated equipment. LEV readings undertaken and advice on exsisting equipment

Airpol Engineering Ltd. have installed Continuously Operating Reverse Jet Filters in a wide range of industries, handling dusts as diverse as animal feed, carbon black, MDF, chipboard, sanding dust, aluminium smelting, polymers, leather, plastic, salt fines, gypsum, cement and lead.

We can provide solutions for a variety of problems, including heavy dust loads and high temperature gas streams.

Airpol's 'AirPol' range of Reverse Jet Filters are available with filter bags manufactured from numerous materials, dependant upon the application, including Polyester, Aramid, Nomex, Gore-tex, etc.

Airpol Reverse Jet Filters are designed to specifically meet the requirements of each individual installation, but generally consist of rows of circular filter bags with mild steel internal cages, supported form a cell plate. The dust is collected on the outside surfaces of the bag until dislodged by the action of jets of compressed air which are introduced into each row of bags by means of a diaphragm valve controlling air from a central air reservoir.

The diaphragm valves are in turn activated by solenoid valves, housed in a weatherproof enclosure or mounted on the diaphragm valve, and an electronic Controller/Monitor which allows variation of cleaning time and cleaning interval. The Controller can be switched to provide continuous cleaning, or to save on compressed air usage, the cleaning can be activated at a pre-set level.

In addition, Airpol's range of Reverse Jet Cartridge Filters utilise polyester filter cartridges with integral support cages and venturis. They are cleaned by blasts of compressed air and the use of a compact cartridge results in a very efficient filter whilst offering savings in both construction costs and space requirements
