The AirPol `RV' range of filters are designed for non-continuous extraction of wood by-product from varying woodworking operations where the filter can be shut down to allow for filter bag cleaning via the shaker mechanism.
The Filter is manufactured from galvanised sheet steel with a galvanised corrugated sheet steel bag enclosure (also available in standard colours), and is available in `Modular' and `Compact' form.
The `Modular' form can be extended up to 3-sections, with a Rotary airlock fitted to the end section; the `Compact' form is fitted with a Rotating Unloader to sweep material into the Rotary Airlock fitted to the filter base.
An integral motorised shaker mechanism removes dust from the filter bags automatically on fan shut down.
Dust is discharged from the filter hopper via a Rotary Airlock where it can be collected in a suitable skip or pneumatic conveying system to storage silo or directly to chip trailer.
The filter is supported by means of fabricated legs from floor level, or on a purpose designed steel support structure to give increased height under the discharge valve.
Air from the filter can be discharged to outside atmosphere or returned to the factory to allow heat regain and cost savings.
The filter bags are supported from a top shaker frame and fitted to a cell plate at the lower open end with a quick release `no tool' double sprung cuff fastening. Filter bags are manufactured from 225 gm cotton with dust release finish.
The Modular Type `RV' is available with filtration areas between 61 sq.m and 303 sq.m.
The .Compact Type `RV' is available with filtration areas between 61 sq.m and 121 sq.m.
